The Texas Live Stock Journal was founded in 1880. The publication was the official organ of the Texas Live Stock Association and later the Cattle Raisers Association of Texas. This title underwent several name changes: The Texas Live Stock and Farm Journal, The Texas Stock and Farm Journal, The Texas Stock Journal, and The Texas Stockman Journal. The journal contained period news about the Texas livestock and farming industries. This publication is now in the public domain.
